Google Sniper is product that was released by Internet Marketing entrepreneur George Brown when he was just 18 years of age. It has been a huge success and made quite a few full-time internet marketers, myself included.

The Google Sniper system teaches you how to create a small 2 or 3 page WordPress website that targets just one keyword phrase. The idea is to get top page ranking on Google for that one keyword. You then find an affiliate product, usually a Clickbank product, and promote it. If you do your keyword research and find a promising niche, you can start generating some affiliate sales fairly quickly. Once you get your site ranked on the top spot of Google your work is done and you can move on to your next site.

If you talk to most skilled copywriters, they’ll tell you that bullet points should be a prominent part of any sales letter. It doesn’t matter whether you’re using short copy or long copy, bullet points get the job done in ways that paragraphs often cannot.

Bullet points and ordered lists provide your readers with a simple means to capture a lot of information without having to wade through dense writing. For instance, they can drink up an entire list of benefits; or they can skim a list of ways in which their businesses may be transformed if they begin using your new technique.

Now, beyond simply using bullet points frequently, you should also try to use them the right way. Below, I have compiled a short list of ways in which you can use bullet points in your copy that should help you to significantly increase your conversion rates:

	1. Keep bullets points short. If your bullet points are actually paragraphs, you’re doing something wrong. The goal should be to summarize, not expand on, important benefits and features of your product.

	2. Alternate between bolded and un-bolded bullet points. Great copywriters, such as the late Gary Halbert, often used this technique; and claimed that it made it easier for readers to digest each bullet point.

	3. Communicate only one idea per bullet. Bullet points work best when they’re short and succinct, so avoid long-winded, multi-sentence bullets.

	4. If you have several large, dense paragraphs that contain many thoughts, break them up into smaller blocks of bullet points. This will improve readability and the flow of your sales letter in general.

	5. Use bullet points to convert long copy into short copy. If a long copy sales page is converting poorly, then change it to a short copy page. This has the potential to change things up and allow you to increase the conversion rate.

If you practice these rules consistently when you use bullet points, the quality of your sales pages will improve over time. It is simply a matter of practicing and observing those who use bullet points well.

Keyword Research – Most People Get this Wrong

Keyword research is not about your hobbies and what you think will be a great niche. It is about getting Goolge and real people to tell you what sells.

The 4 Truths Of Niche Marketing

1.There must be enough people actively searching for what you intend to sell.
2.These people must be happy and willing to spend money for what THEY are interested in.
3.There must be some competitors selling information products
4.You must find social proof to validate your niche

Finding a lucrative niche is easy if you can get this into your head:

	Google Knows Best

To make money online you have got to give people what they want. Not what you think they want. I don't want to sound too harsh, but you must understand this.

What you really need to do is…… get Google to tell you what people want and what they are willing to pay for.

	So…..How Can This Be Done?

	Start With Words Not Ideas

Rather than start of with ideas you would think be profitable, start off with single words or short two to three word phrases. I call it the “Relevant Word Association” method. You provide the word and then leave the rest to Google.com with Google's Keyword Tool.

Google's keyword tool will find descriptive words or phrases relevant to the word or phrase you want to do a search on. This is an amazing tool as it will tell you monthly search results of any word on the Google search engine.

Do you understand how powerful is this?! Google will telling you the most relevant words and phrases for the word or term you search for . And,……..wait for……they are doing this for free! Got to love 'em for that.

Look, making money online is not that difficult, as I’m sure you’re aware of by now it is possible. The easiest way is learn from someone who is successful and copy what they do. But if you really want to make good money in this business and establish yourself as a respected expert, you have to be unique! This is so important that it’s worth repeating several times.

To get attention you need to come up with a unique product or service or a unique twist/angle to an existing product. But before you can do this you need to understand what your customer is going through. What are the main problems and frustrations of customers that other marketers and business owners aren't addressing?

Look for an area within your field/niche that needs attention but isn't getting any. Look for 'holes' in your niche. If you're in a highly competitive niche, take existing ideas and products and find ways to improve on them considerably. Look for something that's highly needed but not being addressed by others. Do surveys, visit message boards and forums, etc.

Target a sub-niche (a smaller niche within a large niche) that isn't overflowing with competition, or one that isn't being addressed yet. I did this with my Japanese product, Japanese Proficiency Power. There were many products on the net for learning Japanese, but very few for learning how to pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. I made a quality product which I have been selling for $97 for the past few years.

Another example of this is when I first got into online marketing, I found many newbies didn't believe that money could be made online. Many felt that they had been ripped off after buying product after product promising instant internet riches. Many were very resentful and started hating the gurus and internet marketing.

I saw this as an opportunity to establish myself as an Internet Marketer who could teach people how to make a few hundred dollars rather than promising a ridiculous amount of money

I noticed that many people would get caught up in the hype of product launches and invest hundreds, or even thousands of dollars to buy a product they thought would bring them lots of cash and success. Yet, most of these newbie marketers didn't really have a niche or product. They had ignored the most important factor of Internet Marketing – finding a lucrative niche. It was an area that needed attention and wasn't too competitive: finding niches that would generate an income. Most newbies would make the mistake of not doing enough research or going with one of their hobbies. But people soon found that nothing would work. They needed a step-by-step guide to finding a profitable niche that would generate an income

So, that's what I wrote about. And, that's the book that put me on the map… Prime Niche Marketing! was born.

Find out what's missing from your market and fill that need! Study your market. Find the holes, and then find a way to fill them. If you don't think you have the skills needed, find someone who does and market that person's assets!

Example: think of celebrity agents. They don't have the acting/dancing/singing skills themselves. But it doesn't matter because they go out and find the talent, then they sell that talent!

A really powerful way to come up with unique ideas is to study other businesses that are NOT related to your market. If you’re in the online marketing field, look at the real estate business, the plumbing business or any other non-related business. If you look closely, with an open mind, you will find many creative and unique ideas that you can bring back to your own business and surprise your market! They will think you’re a creative genius!

Don’t hold back when you’re trying to come up with new and creative ideas. Let your brain take off – freely and unhindered. Think back to when you were 8 years old. Get back in touch with that “nothing is impossible” energy that children possess. That can be your greatest ally in business.

Every now and then I’ll come up with a completely original product idea, but usually it’s just stuff I see happening around me. I look at what’s already selling, what’s already (or is starting to become) popular.

I use my creativity to put new twists to existing "winning" ideas. That's the shortest route to success!

By giving it a twist, it sort of becomes a unique product. Just learn to pay attention. Keep one ear on the ground. Notice what’s getting the most shelf space in bookstores. Visit discussion groups in your niche. Get on mailing lists, etc.

In short, get out there and hang out among your customers and competitors (either online, offline, or both.) Do that and you’ll never run out of ideas to write about.

However, I’d strongly recommend that you give your product idea a little “twist.” Make it unique in some way so that it’s not the same ol’ product that everyone else is selling.

That little twist can make your product stand out and sell very well.

Here’s an example from my past…

When I first started my ‘Secret Collection’ of ebooks several years ago, no one was selling it the way I was. People were selling individual reports, on various niche subjects, but you rarely saw anyone put it together the way I had.

And there was a reason no one was doing it. It was difficult to group those products together and still maintain a “theme.” I’m talking about subjects like online investigation, self defense, credit tips, beating speeding tickets, UFO’s, etc. None of these products had anything to do with each other.

Well, I decided to use the “secrets” theme. My main selling point (and headline) was.. “Discover Secrets You’re Not Supposed To Know About!”

And, in the package, I revealed online investigative secrets, self defense secrets, credit secrets, UFO secrets… and so on. Suddenly, all these products – on different subjects that normally could not be grouped together - worked very well as a “package.”

My uniqueness in this case was the way I “packaged” the products, and of course the “secrets” hook that I used. The moment I gave it a "theme" it was a hit.

I got the “package/membership site” idea from the Internet Marketing Warriors site, of course. So it wasn’t an original idea. (Like I said, pay attention to the top marketers and you’ll get lots of ideas.)

But, I gave it a twist that was original. At least for the online crowd.

So… you don’t have to be an inventive genius to have a hot product. Just watch for what’s selling. Then, focus on solving problems, on providing solutions, on creating value for others, on making your product better than what’s already out there, and you’ll do fine.

Power Tip: Here’s another major reason for coming up with a unique product. Not only will the customers love your product (since they’re always after what’s “new” and “hot,” a unique product will also get other businesses in your field/niche interested in working with you.

Nothing can build your business faster than joint venturing (partnering) with other successful businesses. And nothing will get other businesses to want to partner with you more than a unique product that really solves the problem of your target market.

Here we are at rule #27. It may be the last rule, but it’s actually the most important. And it happens to be related to a common problem that Internet marketers have: they never systemize their business processes.

To understand why this is a problem, just think about one of the things that characterizes the difference between an efficient, scalable corporation and a small business that cannot grow beyond $500,000/year in revenue: ad hoc decision making.

If you’re not familiar with the term “ad hoc,” it refers to anything that is designed for a specific purpose. And this is exactly how we can characterize the decision-making of small businesses: there’s a new decision for each new situation; and no plans for future contingencies.

To the contrary, large corporations plan, work out contingencies, and create systems that can be re-used without spending the time to re-invent the wheel. Take, for instance, the concept of franchising. This makes it possible to create hundreds of retail stores or restaurants without coming up with an “ad hoc” plan for each individual store. Instead, there’s an existing template that can be used and is sufficiently general so that it will ensure the success of the business.

The same thing applies to Internet marketing. Consider how hard it would be to manage an affiliate program if you didn’t do it through Clickbank.com or through some affiliate program software. You would have to talk to each affiliate individually, take her contact information, and record a massive amount of payment information. Instead, you can reduce the amount of time you spend on these tasks to virtually nothing through the use of some systemization and automation.

Now, reducing the amount of ad hoc decision-making you do isn’t just a lofty suggestion. There are many concrete ways in which you can do this to further the systemization of your business; and to improve its efficiency. I personally suggest that you do the following five things at a minimum to streamline your business processes:

1. Create templates for everything you do. Whether you find yourself frequently sending out the same emails, frequently posting the same information on forums, or frequently explaining the same concepts to joint venture partners, make a template for it using Word; and then use it to send all subsequent emails. This will make your life much easier and cut out a lot of unnecessary re-writing.

2. Download a free password-manager and form filler. Add all of your relevant information to these programs; and then use them in the future whenever you need to fill out a form or fill in a password. This will save you a great deal of time and effort in the long run.

3. Spend a full day re-arranging all pertinent information related to your business. Create a database using Excel or Access to keep track of important client information. Create an elaborate system of folders to keep track of all of your business information, so that you can quickly locate it when needed, rather than searching through endless amounts of disorganized information.

4. Create templates for all of your outsourcing tasks. This might include templates for projects you frequently hire freelances for, templates for joint venture proposals, and templates that you use to pursue new affiliates to sell your product.

5. Spend some time drafting process diagrams that clearly define how tasks should be carried out in your business. Consider things such as how you find leads, how those leads translate into buyers, and how projects flow from you to your workers; and then back to you. This will help you work out a logical outline in your mind for how your business should operate; and how it can build systems that will allow it to become scalable. In short, putting systems in place is one of the best ways in which you can eliminate hundreds of different ad hoc decisions; and instead replace them with processes that clearly delineate what you should do in each situation.

One common thread in marketing discussions is that retaining old customers and selling them new products is much easier and less expensive than locating and converting new customers. No matter what business owner you talk to you, you’re likely to find that they agree with this.

And this is precisely why you should take it into consideration when focusing your marketing efforts. If you’re like many other Internet marketers, you think your relationship ends with the customer once the transaction is finalized. You think that once a person clicks “buy,” enters his credit card information, and downloads the ebook, there’s nothing left to be said or done.

Well, the people who think this couldn’t be any more wrong—at least if their goal is to make money. In fact, the first time you sell to a customer should always be the beginning of a long-term relationship of mutual benefit—at least if you have a good business model.

So how can you shift things around to make sure this is the case? I’d start by taking the following two steps:

1. Add a product pitch on your download page.

Most people who haven’t tried this think it sounds crazy. “Who would want to buy something else immediately,” they ask. But, in fact, many people do, which is why you’ll notice this style of pitches on most successful marketers’ product download pages.

The only important thing to keep in mind is that you’ll want the pitch to be relatively low-key. Instead of using a slide-in, a pop-over, or a check-out button at the top of the download page, instead include your pitch below the download button.

Another important thing to keep in mind is the scope and nature of the pitch you make. One good rule of thumb is to match small product sales with large product offers; and large product sales with small product offers. Of course, it is best to test this for yourself and find out what sells best with your particular model.

2. Revitalize your email list.

One common problem that Internet marketers have is that they spend the time to build a robust list to which they can market, but they never seize the opportunity to truly use it to earn money. Once the original autoresponder sequence goes out to customers, they send out very few emails after that; and rarely anything of interest.

This is a big mistake. Revitalizing your email list isn’t the easiest thing in the world to do, but it is perhaps one of the most inexpensive ways in which you can get leads, which is why you shouldn’t overlook it. Relative to finding new leads and converting them, it will almost always be much, much cheaper.

Now, there are several ways in which you can revitalize your list. I personally suggest you do it by giving away a spate of free, but highly valuable products. Consider giving away ebooks, free reports, and prizes. You might even consider requiring people to email you back in order to enter a contest. If they’re successful, you’ll give them a cash prize or something equally attractive.

This should do the trick. After a few weeks, people will stop ignoring your emails; and will pay attention to the information you send them.

So there you have it: one of the best and cheapest ways to make sales is to make new products, but sell them to old customers. Use the above two ways to do this; and you’ll open up a whole new source of traffic and sales that you’ve been willingly throwing away for months or even years.
